We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of bakery ingredients for an experienced Technical Development Manager. This role is all about innovation, customer support, and driving growth in the sweet bakery mixes market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and commercially minded bakery professional to take ownership of product development projects and support customers across food manufacturing, foodservice, retail, and industrial bakery sectors.
Your Duties & Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for developing new sweet bakery mixes, managing technical projects, and ensuring that products meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
* Support the delivery of annual business growth targets through technical input and innovation.
* Lead new product development from concept to launch.
* Support and grow customer accounts across industrial, retail & foodservice.
* Provide technical expertise on recipes, ingredients, and compliance.
* Drive innovation in sweet bakery mixes to stay ahead of market trends.
Your Skills & Experience
* Strong bakery sector experience, ideally in sweet bakery mixes
* Expertise in developing recipes and formulations for sweet bakery mixes.
* A proven track record of managing customer accounts across industrial, craft, retail, and food manufacturing channels.
* Project management skills – from test bakery to production launch.
* Passion for baking innovation and commercial awareness.
