Are you a creative and versatile DT & Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Southern Telford area to recruit an enthusiastic DT & Art Teacher to join their team.
The Role
As a DT & Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Design Technology and Art, inspiring creativity and innovation in students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This full-time DT & Art Teacher role will begin from May half term, with a timetable that may vary depending on the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a DT & Art Teacher across KS3 and KS4
*
Teach a mix of Design Technology and Art, adapting to timetable requirements
*
Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking
*
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*
Maintain a safe and well-organised classroom/workshop environment
*
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards
The Ideal Candidate
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experience teaching both DT and Art at secondary level
*
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*
Flexible and adaptable approach to a varied timetable
*
A passion for creative subjects and student engagement
