Role: Assistant Facilities Manager
Location: Solihull
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Time Recruitment is partnering with a leading property management firm to recruit an Assistant Facilities Manager for a prestigious site in the West Midlands. This is a hands-on role supporting the Facilities Manager and senior leadership team in delivering exceptional service standards across a diverse property portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations and maintenance of commercial buildings
* Conduct regular property inspections and log findings
* Monitor contractor and supplier performance
* Assist in drafting and managing service charge budgets
* Ensure accurate utility meter readings and data management
* Maintain compliance with company policies and legislative frameworks
* Deliver outstanding service to clients and tenants
* Identify risks and escalate to management
* Suggest process improvements and support innovation
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in facilities or property management
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* IOSH certification desirable
* Full UK driving licence required
* Proactive, accountable, and service-oriented
* Comfortable with technology and change
* Values-driven with a collaborative mindset
