This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join a long established, busy, suburban firm in Carrickfergus.
You will be working with a Solicitor/Partner in the field of Family Law to include Matrimonial and Children's Law.
Key Responsibilities include;
* Providing excellent administrative support to solicitor
* Diary management to include Court attendance, scheduling appointments and consultations via zoom and in person
* Drafting and completion of correspondence and legal documents
* Making and receiving calls, emails and handling client queries in a professional and timely manner
* Maintaining an accurate and up to date paper and electronic filing system
* Navigating the Legal Aid LAMS system
* Transcribing audio dictation, verbal and written instructions with a high degree of accuracy
You should have;
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
* Experience with the LAMS system
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement in day-to-day tasks
Working hours - Negotiable, full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
Salary - Commensurate with experience, circa £24'500.00 - £28'000.00 per annum.
