Overview
Our client is a global insurance brokerage with an established international presence and a strong reputation in the London Market. They specialise in delivering tailored insurance solutions to clients worldwide, working across major lines including Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, and Specialty classes.
Responsibilities
* Support brokers in the placement and servicing of Australian Property & Casualty accounts, including open market and binding authority business.
* Prepare and produce market documentation, including MRC slips, endorsements, evidence of cover, and debit/credit notes.
* Liaise with underwriters at Lloyd’s and London Market insurers to obtain quotations and negotiate terms.
* Assist with renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy issuance in accordance with client instructions and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain strong relationships with producing brokers, clients, and underwriters.
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and FCA regulations.
* Prepare bordereaux and other client reports as required.
* Contribute to the efficiency of the broking team, identifying opportunities for process improvement and client service enhancement.
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as an Account Handler, Broker Technician, or Junior Broker within the London Market.
* Exposure to international Property & Casualty risks, ideally including Australian business.
* Strong technical knowledge of slip production, policy documentation, and Lloyd’s market processes.
* Proficiency in Lloyd’s systems (e.g., PPL, DCOM, ATLAS, BAR, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
* A proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
