Responsibilities
The TikTok LIVE - AI Data Operation Specialist role leads business operation initiatives in ecosystem and monetization governance, leveraging both human reviewing and machine learning models, including Large Language Models (LLMs). The role supports content diversity and revenue health across the TikTok Live platform, training AI models, analyzing content reviewing data to extract actionable insights, resolving complex content scenarios, and collaborating with partner teams to ensure effective issue resolution. A strong focus on analytical thinking, ownership, cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward process improvement is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality Operations & Process Excellence: ensure consistent quality benchmarking, policy calibration, and performance analysis across partnership teams; support onboarding, training, and operational readiness of new outsource teams in collaboration with cross-functional partners; lead and manage quality evaluation initiatives with insights and action plans; handle content reviewing and analysis projects delivering actionable trends and recommendations; maintain quality-related documentation (SOPs and reference materials); identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology and collaboration.
* AI Operations – Model Training & Enhancement: train and fine-tune models using extensive labeled datasets; support iterative model improvement through reinforcement learning, testing, and data-driven adjustments; prepare, clean, and structure training data; collaborate with product and algorithm teams to address gaps in model decision-making; draft and quality-check training content; design high-quality prompts to test AI models; translate business requirements into effective prompt strategies.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: analyze moderation and labeling data to derive trends and correlations; arrange supporting data points for impact analysis and solution planning; own and track market-specific KPIs and related reports; present quality insights in timely reviews and project updates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in AI data operation, leveraging AI/ML for content quality management, product operations, or related analytics roles (tech, digital content, or platform moderation environments preferred)
* Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
* Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs)
* Familiarity with dashboard creation and documentation tools
* Strong ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proactive approach to process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to review and analyze potentially sensitive or disturbing content with objectivity and resilience
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, influence strategy, and drive solutions
* Adaptable, proactive, self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
* Solid understanding of ML principles, model evaluation metrics, and optimization techniques
* Deep interest in LLMs, human behavior, and user experience; enthusiastic learner of diverse case studies
* Experience as RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) annotator for leading AI/LLM companies is strongly preferred
