Job Description:
My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds in training who will soon be hitting the roads.
There is currently a record number of learner drivers needing instruction due to test centre backlogs caused by COVID-19.
Over the past 12 months, our Driving Instructors’ hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand.
Additionally, over 70% of our Driving Instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. Now is a great time to become a driving instructor.
Are you reliable? Do you have good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people?
If you answered yes to all, this could be your new career.
People from various industries have recently become Driving Instructors, including:
* Driving industry (HGV, delivery, van, LGV, bus drivers)
* Finance industry (managers, accountants, analysts, supervisors, directors)
* IT industry (support, cybersecurity, web design, engineering, development)
* Health industry (care assistants, nurses, doctors, care managers)
* Education industry (teachers, teaching assistants, admin officers, lecturers)
Full training is provided, conducted locally where possible.
Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
To qualify as a Driving Instructor, you must:
* Have held a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years
* Not have been banned from driving in the last 4 years
* Have no more than 6 points on your licence
