Overview
We are recruiting a full‑time teaching assistant to join a mainstream infant school in Sale (M33) after the October half term. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm, daily pay up to £105. The school seeks a candidate with experience supporting children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, manage classroom routines, and help children settle into daily school life. Confidence with phonics, early numeracy and creating a nurturing environment is key.
Responsibilities
* Support learning and teaching of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
* Assist in managing classroom routines and transitions
* Help children settle into their day‑to‑day school life
* Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons
* Maintain a nurturing and safe environment for young learners
Qualifications
* Experience supporting children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2
* DBS on the Update Service, or ready for DBS processing
* Comfortable working in a busy infant setting
* Positive, proactive attitude and ability to build strong relationships with young learners
* Confidence with phonics, early numeracy and creating a nurturing environment
