About the Role
Serve as the Lead Functional Business Analyst for Fircosoft Transaction Screening (Payment) system upgrades and business impact assessments. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring payment screening solutions align with risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for Fircosoft Transaction Screening (Payment) upgrade projects
- Conduct detailed business impact assessments for payment screening enhancements
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams
- Design and document target operating models for payment screening processes
- Analyze current-state payment screening workflows and identify optimization opportunities
- Define screening rules, algorithms, and tuning parameters in collaboration with Compliance
- Create comprehensive functional specifications for technical implementation
- Lead requirements workshops with business stakeholders and document outcomes
- Support UAT planning, test case development, and defect management
- Analyze false positive trends and recommend tuning strategies
- Ensure traceability from business requirements to delivered functionality
- Develop business process documentation and training materials
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Fircosoft Expertise: Hands‑on experience configuring Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, or FSK for payment screening
- Payment Screening: Deep knowledge of SWIFT messages (MT103, MT202, MX), SEPA, local payment formats
- Business Analysis: 8+ years as FBA in banking technology projects
- AML Domain: Strong understanding of sanctions screening, watchlist management, PEP screening
- Data Analysis: Experience analyzing screening hits, false positives, and tuning metrics
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of MAS AML/CFT requirements, FATF standards
- Documentation: Expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases
- SQL/Analytics: Ability to query data and analyze screening patterns
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMS, CGSS, or similar AML certification
- Experience with Fircosoft tuning and optimization projects
- Knowledge of machine learning applications in transaction screening
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and data lineage
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies
- Previous work with Singapore banks on AML system implementations
- Understanding of real-time vs batch screening architectures
