Export Agency Finance and Trade - Assistant General Counsel - Vice President

Job Responsibilities
* Provide primary legal support and advice on a wide range of export finance and trade & working capital products across all EMEA jurisdictions.
* Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with customers, export agencies, and other parties.
* Contribute to projects that improve operational processes to increase the efficiency and scalability of legal support.
* Liaise and coordinate with local, regional, and global legal counterparts and functional partners on legal issues.
* Instruct and work with outside counsel.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
* Qualified lawyer from a common law jurisdiction or an EU member state with +5 years of post‑qualification legal experience.
* Experience in lending and finance.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
* Experience supporting export agency financings across industries such as aviation, infrastructure, project finance, shipping, etc.
* Experience in trade finance (letters of credit/demand guarantees) and receivables financing.
* Experience working with business and control functions stakeholders across geographies.
