Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a passionate and skilled Building Surveyor to join our Major Structural Defects team at our head office in Middlesbrough. About the Role:
As a Building Surveyor, no two days will be the same! You will be part of a dedicated team addressing both structural and fire damage works, along with supporting issues related to damp and mould. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a customer-focused and right-first-time surveying service as part of a collaborative team.
* Lead on insurance work for fire and structurally damaged properties.
* Manage sub-contractors from project inception through to completion.
* Survey and specify works related to structural defects falling under insurance thresholds.
What We're Looking For:
* A degree in Building Surveying or significant relevant experience in the field.
* Up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations and experience in practical application.
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Experience conducting a range of building surveys and producing high-quality technical reports and detailed drawings.
