Key Responsibilities
-Manage a portfolio of retail clients, acting as their primary point of contact
-Advise clients on risk exposures and appropriate insurance solutions
-Place risks into the London Market, negotiating terms with insurers and underwriters
-Handle renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments efficiently and accurately
-Prepare presentations, market submissions, and insurance documentation
-Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders
-Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulation and internal compliance standards
-Identify opportunities to grow and develop client accounts through cross-selling and upselling
Skills & Experience
-Experience working as a Retail Broker or Client Executive within the London Market
-Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and placement processes
-Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high service standards
-Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
-Well-organised, detail-focused, and commercially minded
-Familiarity with FCA regulatory requirements
-Progress toward or completion of professional insurance qualifications (e.g. CII) preferred
