Beach Warden – Location: Groomsport Harbour public convenience, Harbour Road.

ANDBCmunity Development – are seeking two reliable, proactive andmunity‑focused Beach Wardens to support the safe and weing operation of the Groomsport Inclusive beach loan scheme and environment throughout summer.
Contract & Working Hours
Contract Duration: 6 June 2026 – 29 August 2026
Working up to 12 hours per week rota based.
Standard Working Pattern:
1. Saturdays & Sundays, starting Saturday 06 June 2026
2. 11:00 – 17:00 (6 hours per day)
3. One staff member per shift

5. Thurs 16, Fri 17, Sat 18, Sun 19 July
No Service:Sat 11 & Sun 12 JulyKey Responsibilities
6. Beach equipment facilitation — managing specialist beach equipment hire, cancellations and returns.
7. Maintenance of facilities — ensuring changing areas, car parks, walkways, ramps and the wider beach environment remain clean, tidy and safe.
8. Reporting issues — identifying and escalating matters requiring attention.
9. Public interaction — responding to enquiries and handlingplaints from members of the public in a polite, timely and professional manner.
10. Record keeping — maintaining accurate logs relating to equipment, incidents, cleaning and daily operations.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
11. 2 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
12. At least six months’ experience in face‑to‑face customer service or public‑facing work.
13. At least six months’ experience carrying out cleaning duties.
14. Experience maintaining accurate records in a work environment.
15. Good written and verbalmunication skills
16. Understanding and appreciation of the needs of the public
17. Ability to use your own initiative.
