Drainage Engineer – Pumps & Maintenance The Role We’re looking for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join a skilled team working across a variety of sites — from domestic properties to large commercial facilities. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems, with a strong focus on pump station installations, repairs, and servicing. You’ll help ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Key Responsibilities: Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on drainage systems, including CCTV surveys, jetting, and descaling. Diagnose and repair issues with pump stations, including submersible and macerator pumps. Install, service, and replace pumps and associated control systems. Complete accurate reports, risk assessments, and method statements. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional standards on-site. Participate in an out-of-hours rota as required (with standby allowance). Pay & Benefits: Hourly rate: from £13.50 per hour, rising to £17+ per hour depending on experience (negotiable).
