Job Description
* Manage customer accounts and ensure prompt payment of invoices.
* Perform credit checks on new customers and monitor existing customer accounts for changes in credit risk.
* Work closely with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or queries.
* Prepare monthly reports on account statuses for senior management.
* Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant regulations.
* Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals.
* Continually strive for process improvement in all aspects of the role.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
* Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
