We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of food and beverage service, including serving of drinks, and food preparation, while adhering to the highest standards of hospitality and food safety.
Duties
* Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and responding to guest inquiries promptly.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
* Support catering events by setting up and dismantling equipment as required.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality control.
* Uphold food safety regulations by following proper hygiene practices during food handling and preparation.
* Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
* Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing their overall experience.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is advantageous.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
* Barista experience would be beneficial for roles involving beverage service.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
