About this role
Gartner for HR Leaders is hiring for a growth-focused Account Executive Development Executive to join our high-performing team. Account Executives partner with CHROs and C-Level executives to address priorities, drive renewal and retention, and generate new revenue. You will work with existing Gartner clients and internal subject matter experts to identify opportunities for account retention and expansion, including introducing new services and products. Clients of the mid-size enterprise sales team have up to $1B in annual revenue.
Your role will include:
* Partnering with C-Level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies
* Guiding customer satisfaction, account retention, and growth by collaborating with clients and Gartner teams
* Owning forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
* Working within a diverse sales team with a track record of continuous learning and overachievement
* Collaborating with client teams to navigate challenging scenarios and deliver results
What you will need:
* 1–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments
* Some business development or “hunting” experience in a selling role is highly desired
* Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives is highly desired
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Proven ability to manage and forecast a complex sales process
* Bachelor’s degree desired

In-person experiences across our Global MSE sales team can include 1:1s with managers, team meetings, recognition, and upskilling sessions that are better done in person. * Typical internal promotions include Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, and Sales Manager
