Job Description
* Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
* Contributing to budgeting and forecasting exercises
* Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
* Assisting in the management of financial transactions and records
* Supporting the year-end audit process
* Working closely with the wider accounting and finance team to achieve department goals
* Adhering to all relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Assisting in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
The Successful Applicant
* Demonstrable experience in an assistant accountant or similar role
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Excellent communication and team-working skills
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Whats on Offer
Salary up to £35,000-£40,000 per annum equivalent (depending on skills and experience) + Office based role (1 day per week can be offered once training is completed) + Free parking on site + Accessible location + 33 days annual leave per year (bank holidays not included) + 40 hour working week (flexible start and finish times)
