An established fashion supplier in Manchester are looking for a Fashion Designer to join their growing design team.
The Brand
They are fashion supplier based in Manchester & they are looking for a Womenswear Designer to join their team. In this role, you will take ownership of key product areas, working closely with the Senior designer and Suppliers to deliver trend-led fashion ranges tailored to the needs of their retail partners.
The Role
* Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
* Collaborating closely with the Senior Designer to adapt designs based on customer feedback with speed and flexibility.
* Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
* Carry out fit sessions on new development and make comments/adjustments accordingly
* Assist with repeat pattern and print developments
* Carrying out seasonal and in-season trend research, competitor benchmarking, and monitoring social media to stay ahead of emerging trends and consumer reactions.
* Developing design concepts and mood boards, and producing detailed technical CAD drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
* Creating and managing comprehensive tech packs to support product development.
About You
* 3-4 years experience working in design preferably within womenswear but the role will also be working on some menswear too
* Strong proficiency in in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft Office
