Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and management, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to our residents. Duties
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities, promoting best practices in clinical care.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
* Conduct regular assessments of patient care services, ensuring adherence to established standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for residents, including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions.
* Manage staffing levels, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
* Oversee medical documentation processes, ensuring accuracy in ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding as well as compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Facilitate utilization review processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource management.
* Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote facility services and foster relationships with local healthcare providers.
Experience and requirements
Candidates should have substantial experience in healthcare management or a related field. Preferred qualifications include:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Right to work
* Background in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes.
* Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and basic life support protocols.
* Proven ability in managing teams effectively while promoting a culture of respect and collaboration.
