Have you completed a degree in the built Environment with an RTPI or RICs qualification? If you possess a flexible approach and are ready to embrace new challenges, we invite you to join our Strategic Land Graduate Programme. Our dedicated strategic land team focus on acquiring large areas of land with excellent potential for significant development. This programme promises a comprehensive overview of our strategic land operations, coupled with insights into various other departments. This holistic approach is designed to cultivate a thorough understanding of our business framework and the pivotal role of strategic land as a valuable asset. The Graduate Scheme Our programme is a 2-year scheme, where individuals will gain an in-depth knowledge into strategic land which will include the planning processes behind acquiring land, strategic searching for and procuring new land opportunities, as well as developing a wider understanding of house building and much more. The programme will include a 2-year development course to focus on your professional skills which are delivered at our specialist Training Hub in Solihull. You will have the opportunity to attend regular business masterclasses on a wide range of topics essential to your professional growth, including leadership, project management, technical skills, and industry-specific knowledge. You will also compete in the King’s Trust Million Makers project, a nine-month challenge that aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and raise money for The King’s Trust, while being exposed to senior leaders and mentors in the business. During the programme, you will have the chance to rotate across various departments within Taylor Wimpey. These rotations are designed to give you a broad understanding of the business. During your training, you'll gain hands-on experience in key areas such as: Land Studies and initial Land risk assessments Understanding of Heads of Term, negotiations and agreements Legal instructions Portfolio Management Applications and appeals Section 106/75 and planning negotiations Estate Management Our commitment to your development means that we provide targeted support and feedback to help you focus on areas for improvement, ensuring you are well-prepared for the next review. Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements 2:1 degree or above in a RICS or RTPI accredited course in planning or surveying (Required) Full driving license and access to a car (Required) Willingness to travel around the UK and are happy to stay away from home for short periods of time Ability to find innovative and creative solutions to solve problems Willingness to challenge the norm What We Offer At Taylor Wimpey £29,250 - £31,250 starting salary with pay increases as you reach milestones throughout your training.
