Murray Recruitment has an excellent permanent opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive to join our Lanarkshire based client.
As an Internal Sales Executive, reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will hold a crucial position in both nurturing existing accounts and developing new business. Your responsibilities span from providing quotations to processing orders, and ensuring seamless delivery of products on schedule.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business.
* Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably.
* Engage with customers face to face and over the phone.
* Accurately take and input orders onto the system.
* Providing quotes.
* Maximise add-on sales.
* Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers.
* Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
* Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teams.
* Work collaboratively to create awareness in the customer base of the full range of product offering.
Experience
* Previous internal sales experience.
* Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable) although not essential.
* Good level of numeracy and IT skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong Communication Skills.
* Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers.
