Job Opportunity: Group Accounts Payable Assistant

We are searching for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. You'll be based in our head office on Anderson Street in Inverness.
What you'll need:
1. A good understanding of basic bookkeeping.
2. Knowledge of accounting software.
3. The ability to build good working relationships.
4. Enthusiasm for identifying and pursuing process improvements.
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll be assisting with the day-to-day tasks of the Finance team and managing routine transactions associated with Group ledgers.
Day-to-day tasks include logging, maintaining, and filing invoices, investigating purchase ledger queries, creating company reports, liaising with project managers, and processing personal and company expenses.
You'll also be involved with maintaining the accuracy of vendor details, reconciling vendor statements, assisting with the payment of vendors, and interacting with vendors.
The role is full-time which means you'll be working a 39-hour week, usually Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 4pm.
Part-time hours can be discussed although they will be required to be worked over the 5 day working week.
