Vertical Transportation Engineer
to join our team in our London office. This role offers flexible working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and adjustable start and finish times. What does the role involve? Sweco’s vertical transportation engineers provide specialist advice on lift and escalator designs for high-profile buildings. We seek a specialist to develop a long-term career in this high-profile discipline. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects in the UK and globally, including: 2 Finsbury Avenue, London : A major office development with innovative lift systems. A high-rise twin tower project at Vauxhall, working with international architects and clients. Google, London : Designing sustainable, state-of-the-art workspace solutions. To be successful, you should: Have at least HND/HNC/ONC in lift engineering or equivalent. Have completed a lift industry apprenticeship (advantageous but not essential). Hold a professional qualification and be a member of relevant bodies or working towards it. Have several years of UK experience in lift design, preferably with a lift supplier or in building services design. Be skilled in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiar with DigiPara lift design software. Possess good communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate and produce clear reports.
