Manufacturing Engineer Newtownabbey 38K-42K The core purpose of the Manufacturing Engineer will be to ensure efficient, high-quality production processes for critical aerospace components. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, optimising, and supporting manufacturing processes, including automation, chemical treatments, robotic spray painting, metal bonding, and assembly operations. Responsibilities Use engineering experience to develop methods of manufacture and provide high quality manufacturing cell support Design and specify new or modified tooling, fixtures, and methods Engineering process improvement; identify, implement, and support continuous improvement activities Scope and assess new work for all aspects of post machining processes, Essential Citeria Hold an HNC/D Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering related qualification At least 3 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an Engineering / Manufacturing environment Desirable Experience in one of the following processes: anodising, bonding, general wet treatments, painting, assembly, or automated spray painting
