Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Secondary History Teacher to work in a secondary school in the South Tyneside area to start in September. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver engaging History lessons, support pupils of varying abilities, and help maintain a calm, positive learning environment where every student feels motivated to succeed. You will work closely with school leadership and teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning across KS3–KS5 History.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* ECTs welcome to apply
* Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to inclusive education
* Ability to provide two recent references
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned History lessons across KS3–KS5
* Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
* Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement in History
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
* Maintain high standards of behaviour management
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
* Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
