Background of the department

Student Wellbeing and Support is a busy department meeting the needs of all CCCU students. The support offer is broad and varied, covering all health conditions, learning differences and groups with protected characteristics.


Role Summary

This role holds high-level responsibility for support delivery across the department, ensuring the service is accountable, meets sector priorities and student need.

We are looking for someone with experience of managing a range of specialist support provision in higher education and who has worked in senior roles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed service with ambitious plans to develop and embed best practice. The successful candidate will drive change and manage delivery of complex key projects.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead high-level change projects.
* Manage complex teams and projects.
* Ensure evidence-based services for students.
* Travel to partner institutions as required.


Key Qualifications

* Evidence of leading high-level change projects.
* Experience managing complex teams.
* Strong project management skills.
* Sound knowledge of student support issues and current sector priorities.


Working Arrangements

Flexible methods of working are supported. Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and over the year, but must be aligned to the needs of students, staff and stakeholders. Travel to partner institutions may be required.
