Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional grilled dishes within a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensure high standards of food safety, and manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase leadership skills and contribute to the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise the grill section, ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality grilled dishes.
* Oversee food production processes, maintaining efficiency and adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage and coordinate the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen area.
* Develop and implement innovative menu ideas in collaboration with management, focusing on flavour, presentation, and customer preferences.
* Monitor stock levels, place orders for ingredients, and minimise waste through effective inventory management.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Extensive food production and culinary experience specialising in grilling techniques.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen team.
* Excellent food preparation and cooking skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
* Sound knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Previous restaurant experience demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced setting.
* Good understanding of hospitality service standards including serving practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
