Groundworker – Civils Operative (UK Wide)
My client is expanding fast and is looking to take on an experienced groundworker to work on short-duration civils projects across the UK. They actually need two people to join the team.

* Working away: up to 4 nights per week (UK wide)
* Location: must be based in the North West, within reach of Preston
* Salary: £35,000 basic + £5,000 guaranteed overnight premium (£40,000 total)
* Role: permanent, Monday–Friday (45 hours)

Essential qualifications
* NRSWA (Streetworks)
* CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator (below 10 tonne)
* Full UK driving licence
* Minimum 10 years' experience as a groundworker

The role
As a groundworker, you'll carry out general civils and groundwork on car park installations, ensuring jobs are completed safely and on time. This includes:
1. Excavations and service trenching
2. Installing bollards, columns and signposts
3. Kerbs, paving, concrete, tarmac and reinstatement
4. Using CAT & Genny to locate underground services
