Room Leader – Marlow – Riley Park Day Nursery and Pre-school
We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to lead the Little Blooms baby room.
Responsibilities
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
* Assist staff in updating the EYLog system and child learning journals with the highest quality.
* Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency.
* Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on the EYMan system and on file.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure that the statutory framework for the EYFS is met.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
* Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years – Essential.
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position – Desirable.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable.
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential.
* Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential.
