Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller
Locations: Beverley & Carnaby Depots

Join our award-winning Fleet Services team, an integral part of East Riding of Yorkshire Council. We are seeking experienced Shift Supervisors / Workshop Controllers to support the maintenance of our diverse and varied fleet.
About the Role:
You will oversee the day-to-day running of a busy vehicle maintenance workshop, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of service. Duties include:
1. Managing planned maintenance schedules
2. Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from LGVs to plant equipment
3. Supervising staff and prioritising workloads
About You:
4. Highly skilled and experienced vehicle technician
5. Previous experience as a shift supervisor or workshop controller
6. Strong communication and people management skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
