GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Specialist Tutor to support students in Belper on a part-time or part-day basis. As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging and individualised sessions to students with a range of SEND needs, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve academic progress. This role is ideal for experienced educators, SEND specialists, or individuals with a strong background in inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities of SEND Specialist Tutor
* Deliver personalised tutoring sessions adapted to individual SEND profiles.
* Support students with a variety of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
* Track and report on student progress and development.
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic support.
Requirements for SEND Specialist Tutor
* Previous experience working with SEND learners in educational settings.
* Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
* Ability to build rapport and trust with vulnerable students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to education.

* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
