Job summary If you are a dynamic individual who enjoys a challenge and would like to join a team who are passionate about providing high quality care to their patients, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for a Full Time Nursing Support Worker to join our busy Outpatient's team, based at Withybush General Hospital. The successful candidate will also be required to cover sessions in both South Pembrokeshire Hospital and Tenby Cottage Hospital. The Outpatients service currently runs from Monday to Friday with hours ranging between 08:00 and 18:00. You will work as part as the nursing team performing a range of duties to ensure the smooth provision of clinics. Duties include undertaking a range of clinical observations/tests, to act as a chaperone during consultations and assist clinicians with procedures. Full induction and training will be given to the successful candidate. Interviews to be held on 18/12/2025 Main duties of the job We cover a wide range of specialities including Vascular, Orthopaedics, Colorectal, General Medicine and Ear Nose and Throat clinics. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, committed to give high quality care and be able to work as part of a team. You will consistently ensure that a patient's privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is always maintained and that the care given is patient centred. You need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We need individuals who are forward thinking, well organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
