A vacancy has arisen in the Neonatal Unit, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, for a Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Child Branch).
We are a Local Neonatal Unit, consisting of 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency, and 11 Special Care cots.
At present, we have 4 qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and 2 trainee ANNPS.
We are a forward-thinking unit. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake Foundations in Neonatal Care modules.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our team. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team as well as independently.
You will be expected to deliver a high standard of care using a holistic approach to family-centred care.
An up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice and a commitment to delivering clinically effective care within neonates are essential.
You must have a recognised clinical qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development. Flying Start should have been commenced on qualifying.
