Smart Teachers are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within its partner mainstream schools in the Wandsworth borough.
About the role
You will be expected to support a pupil with additional needs across KS1 & KS2
Work alongside a speech and language therapist to help improve child's verbal communication
Use Phonics and Makaton to effectively communicate with the child
Full time role starting in September 2025, 08:30-16:00

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
Have an understanding of phonics/makaton
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Have previous experience supporting children with SEN
