This role drives the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our Safety and Quality Management systems, ensuring every site operates to the highest standards of health, safety, environmental care and operational excellence. By championing compliance, empowering teams, and pushing for continuous improvement, the position plays a pivotal part in meeting regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements while enabling our operations to achieve ambitious QSHE targets and make a measurable impact across the business. How you create impact Support with the Safety and Quality management systems, ensuring that they are aligned to Regulations, Customer Safety Management plans, policies and procedures and ISO standards. Support risk management by ensuring suitable and sufficient risk assessments are in place Provide advice to Operations on QSHE matters, Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment plus Learning & Development in support of compliance and achievement of KPIs and Objectives. Support the Distribution teams in identification of suitable and sufficient training required to carry out their duties and ensure this is managed effectively. Complete assurance activity including internal audits and safety tours, in order to satisfy legislative, policy and contractual requirements and in line with relevant regulations and ISO Standards (9001, 14001 and 45001) Provide support to external audits including Regulatory bodies, Rail & Road SMEs, National KN, Leidos and Customer. Identify and develop corrective actions from internal and external audits and support Operations in the implementation of those corrective actions. Ensure all audit activity is recorded and managed through the LCST audit process Lead investigations(Accidents, Near Misses and Safety Concerns), enabling root causes, identification and implementation of suitable corrective and mitigating actions. There will be the requirement to travel to other KN siteswithin the contract as and when required What we would like you to bring IOSH Managing Safety (required) NEBOSH NGC (desirable). Lead Audit Qualified and Experienced (required) ISO Standards 9001; 14001 & 45001 preferable.
