The Role As Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry (where applicable). This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll work closely with your team to ensure that every guestroom, public area, and staff facility reflects the uncompromising quality expected of a flagship luxury hotel.
Your remit will span:
* Operational Leadership – Oversee shift operations, room status updates, and coordination with Front Office and Engineering.
* Quality & Standards – Drive the property’s inspection programme, ensuring that every room and space exceeds 5-star expectations.
* Financial Oversight – Manage departmental costs, inventories, and budgets, contributing directly to the hotel’s profitability.
* Guest Satisfaction – Take ownership of service recovery, foster a culture of excellence, and empower your team to delight guests.
* People Management – Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team, ensuring fair policies, consistent standards, and career development pathways.
What We’re Looking For
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a housekeeping management or supervisory role within a luxury hotel environment.
* A passion for delivering exceptional service and a meticulous eye for detail.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
* Solid understanding of budgets, stock management, and departmental financial performance.
* A collaborative mindset, able to work across departments to maintain the highest levels of presentation and efficiency.
* A hospitality qualification (Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration) is desirable but not essential.
