IAM Analyst

As part of an ongoing global transformation, this company is looking to strengthen its security team with the addition of an IAM Analyst to help ensure the continued success and integrity of their initiatives. As their IAM Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting both global and local IAM projects that align with business and security objectives. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, including root cause investigation, process definition, and requirements gathering, while ensuring all documentation is accurate and comprehensive. This role involves close collaboration with IAM Analysts, Engineers, and various business and technical stakeholders to ensure project milestones and timelines are met. Your analytical mindset, strong documentation skills, and ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment will be essential in driving the success of the IAM initiatives.
Responsibilities for IAM Analyst include:
* Conduct root cause analysis for issues that arise through analytical and systemic approaches with a clear path to resolutions and the development of all associated documentation.
* Gather requirements and develop process flows aligned with project objectives and technical considerations from the IAM Engineers.
* Manage IAM service desk tickets and ensure SLAs are met.
* Investigate security anomalies, events, operational security issues and where required perform non-standard operational security tasks as required.
* Plan and monitor tasks independently within set deadlines.
* Document audit work to meet compliance standards.
* Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Apply specialist IAM knowledge to meet business and security goals.
Skills and Experience required for the role of IAM Analyst include:
* Proven experience in Identity and Access Management
* Technical use of IAM tools e.g Okta, CyberArk or Similar tools
* Experience in requirement gathering and process development
* Experience in highly complex hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
* Knowledgeable in Excel and associated formulas to assist in data analysis
* Strong communication skills and experience in collaborating with stakeholders
* IAM best practices, JML processes, Identity and RBAC knowledge
