Programme Manager London/Milton Keynes – Hybrid As a Programme Manager working within the Group Change Delivery team, you will establish, shape and lead the delivery of strategic change programmes across the organisation. You will be accountable to the Programme Sponsor for the successful delivery of programmes while reporting into the Programme Management Director. Your role will require you to work closely with other functions within Group Change Delivery to ensure the integrity and successful delivery of the overall Group Change Portfolio. Responsibilities: Established, shape and lead the delivery of change programmes to achieve the required business outcomes. Present options and ensure appropriate trade-offs to reduce delivery risk and increase confidence in programme success. Provide strong insight to enable decision-making and guide direction of projects and programmes. Ensuring plans align with the Group Strategy, Target Operating Model, and the End State Blueprint. Manage, motivate, and support project and programme teams to achieve delivery against plans. Coach stakeholders to adopt the behaviours and tools which will allow them to succeed throughout the transformation cycle. Manage, coach and develop direct reports within your team. Identify issues and ideas which improve the way we work through workshops, intelligence gathering, interviews etc. Identify deliver risks and issues and ensure appropriate actions are implemented to mitigate then. Partner with the Business Analysis Team to ensure the Business Case is robust and that the programme vision, scope and required outcomes are clear and agreed. Work closely with Change Management Teams to drive the development and execution of programme wide communication strategies and plans. Provide concise and forward-looking visibility/reporting. To be successful in the role, you will have: Project/Programme Management Qualifications (e.g Prince2/MSP/AgilePM) Brilliant people and line management capabilities. Extensive experience across project/programme management within established organisations. Demonstrable history of delivering complex programmes successfully. Experience managing programmes with upwards of 50 people. Advanced knowledge and ability to prove experience of shaping complex programmes. Great ability to implement effective programme governance framework. High level of stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience managing 3rd party suppliers. Brilliant ability to manage direct reports; coaching and developing others. Nice to have, but not essential: Change Management qualification (e.g APM, Prosci) Commercial/legal experience; supplier contracts, statements of work etc. Active engagement in corporate industry and professional networks/standards in project & programme management.
