Registered Nurse – Outpatients | Maidstone
Full Time 6 month Fixed Term Contract | Competitive Salary depending on experience, in line with agenda for change.
Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in Outpatients? Do you want the time to care for your patients?
We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and energetic Registered Nurse to join our Outpatients department on a full time basis, working three days per week between Monday and Saturday, – for the next 6 months.
You will be responsible for supporting consultants and undertaking procedures including wound care, phlebotomy, plastering, and minor ops along with some gynae and urology procedures.
This role is ideal for a strong and motivated Registered Nurse who has the ability to easily build a rapport with patients and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse you will:
1. Be able to demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions, working within the NMC code of conduct.
2. Assess, plan and deliver care, based on individual patient needs.
3. Act as role model, promoting a learning environment.
4. Maintain accurate records of patient care.
5. Respect and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
