What you can expect Due to our continued growth, our UK Integrity Management office in Newcastle Upon Tyne requires a Senior Engineer to deliver Pipeline Integrity related projects and provide consultancy services to external customers and internal groups within ROSEN.
The role will involve working with engineers and colleagues from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.
Main Duties:
* Provide consultancy services to customers on pipelines and associated plant
* Act as a mentor and supervise the work of more junior engineers within ROSEN
* Give presentations to and participate in technical meetings with customers
* Review and input into Fitness for Purpose & Corrosion Growth Assessment studies.
* Contribute to business development activities
* Author journal articles and present at industry conferences to promote ROSEN's expertise in Integrity Solutions
* Define strategies for and manage complex / challenging projects with multiple resources to required quality, cost and time
What you will bring
Essential:
* More than 5 years of proven pipeline integrity experience
* Working knowledge of pipeline codes and standards
* Educated to a minimum of Batchelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
* Knowledge of pipeline inspection technologies, including in-line inspection and ultrasonic wall thickness measurement
* Excellent communicator with a track record in delivering technical presentations, writing detailed technical reports, and developing strong client relationships
Advantageous:
* Experience of managing and co-ordinating small project teams
* Working knowledge of pipeline integrity data management systems
* Experience in presenting / authoring technical papers for conference and journals
* Background in the assessment and maintenance of pipelines / pipework
* Experience in business development, including development of technical proposals
* Condition assessment of pipelines, including working knowledge and practical experience of integrity assessments according to industry recognised guidance such as API 579 / ASME FFS1, RSTRENG, DNV RP F101 etc.
