We are now expanding our training team and seeking a passionate, experienced Lead Trainer to deliver high-impact digital forensics instruction across the UK and internationally. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the capabilities of our clients, ensuring they are confident and skilled in using Detego’s suite of tools. You will deliver both online and in-person training on Detego Suite Pro, Ultimate, and all sub-sections, providing Detego Certification and becoming proficient in our City and Guilds Assured certification programme. Once established, you will also contribute to the future of training, building on a strong history of successful courses and content, and influencing how our technology evolves.
Location: UK-based with frequent international travel (Options: at our HQ in Horsham, UK, hybrid, and potentially fully remote)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience, minimum starting £50k + dependent on experience + bonus

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver hands-on training, both on-site and remotely, on Detego Global’s digital forensics solutions (full induction and shadowing provided).
* Conduct training in areas including:
o Mobile and computer forensics
o Digital evidence acquisition, analysis, and reporting
o Lab and field-based forensic workflows
o General digital forensics best practices and processes
o Specialised training on a case-by-case basis
* Provide post-training support and guidance to clients when required.
* Maintain high levels of learner engagement and satisfaction.
* Travel across the UK and internationally to deliver training (passport and driving licence required).
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create training videos, webinars, and other educational content.
* Work with product and support teams to stay current with tool updates and best practices.
* Represent Detego Global at industry events and conferences when required.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in digital forensics, cyber investigations, or related digital roles.
* Prior experience delivering training or mentoring in a technical or investigative capacity.
* Strong understanding of digital forensic principles and workflows.
* Experience in at least one of the following:
o Law enforcement, military, or government digital investigations
o Courtroom experience as an expert witness or forensic analyst
o Dedicated digital forensics trainer or instructor
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Outgoing personality with a passion for teaching and empowering others.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
* UK driving licence.
* Passport.
* Possible weekend travel, with time off in lieu given.
Desirable Qualifications
* Certifications in digital and cyber-related disciplines and/or vendor qualifications.
* Experience with Detego Global tools (training will be provided).
* Instructional design or adult learning qualifications.
* Security clearance (not essential).
* Multilingual skills are an advantage.
