Benefits Officer needed in Northallerton The rate is £20.00ph PAYE This is a temporary role The reference number is: RQ1587664 Our client are looking for Benefit Officers, Funding Officers and Benefit Overpayment Officers, all assignments will be full time. Hybrid is optional however fully remote is also accepted for these assignments. Candidates must have NEC systems and NEC document management experience. They will be responsible for administering the Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction scheme in accordance with Government legislation, case law and local policy and will ensure that all claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit are processed accurately and within the targeted timescales. They will be processing and assessing discretionary housing payment applications and dealing with housing benefit overpayments.
