We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of electrical systems for renewable and energy-efficient projects within social housing. This role will involve managing teams, liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, while ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical installations for energy-efficient and renewable projects (solar, heat pumps, LED retrofitting, etc.) across social housing sites.

Supervise and support a team of electricians and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to schedules.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient project delivery.
*
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and health & safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and timelines to senior management.
*
Stay updated on industry trends, eco-friendly technologies, and renewable energy advancements.

Ensure that all work is compliant with electrical regulations and building codes.

Qualifications:

Recognized Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
*
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential).
*
NICEIC or equivalent certification (desirable).

Experience:

Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or Supervisor in the social housing or construction sector.

Experience in renewable energy systems, eco-friendly technologies, and energy-efficient retrofits.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance.
