We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team at our Farm in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
As a Production Operative you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the Hemp Line throughout the day, including machine operation.
Reporting into: Hemp Processing Production Manager
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am – 4pm (39 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure machines are running to full potential using available resources.
* To ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and risks assessed.
* In the event of a breakdown, diagnose the problem and rectify using available resources:
* To work collaboratively with production operatives.
* To call a Company electrician/maintenance operative for assistance.
* During breakdown periods, support the Hemp Line Leader and find alternative work for the duration of the shift.
* At the end of a shift, ensure all machines are set up for the next shift, including:
* Emptying skips.
* Cleaning.
* Ensure cleaning is carried out satisfactorily.
* Ensure housekeeping is kept to the correct standard throughout the shift.
* Complete planned maintenance report form.
* Any other duties deemed necessary by Hemp line Production Manager.
Key Skills & Experience:
* FLT licence preferable.
* Self-motivated.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Promotes teamwork.
