Simpson Judge are supporting a Top 50 UK firm with an opening they have for a qualified accounts senior/ manager
The team is growing in response to an expanding and more demanding client base, and this is an excellent opportunity to join this friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of accounting assignments within the accounts team.
* Handle the financial management, servicing, and growth of a client portfolio, including budgeting, fee negotiation, billing, and debt recovery.
* Supervise the preparation of statutory accounts and lead assignment teams effectively.
* Prepare Corporate Tax Returns alongside financial statements for clients reporting under FRS 105.
* Complete and submit Personal Tax Returns accurately and on time.
* Finalize accounts under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Principals.
* Work proficiently with Xero and QuickBooks Online, providing advisory support to clients using cloud-based systems.
About you
* ACA/ACCA qualified (with 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience), or qualified through experience.
* Extensive accounting experience within a professional services environment.
* Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and corporate taxation.
* Experience with personal tax is advantageous but not essential.
* Exceptional communication and people management skills, with a proven track record of effectively managing both staff and client relationships.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure while maintaining a calm and focused approach to meet tight deadlines.
* Collaborative team player with a proactive and supportive approach.
