Contract and Work Pattern
Permanent, full‑time (37.5 hours per week) with job share options. The role is based at RAF Leeming, Gatenby, Northallerton, with cover required at other Southern facilities (Leconfield, York, Dishforth, etc.)

Role Responsibilities
* Triage urgent care requests if required, consulting with patients or directing them appropriately.
* Provide specialist advice and support to patients, their families and other healthcare professionals through assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
* Work autonomously using advanced history taking and examination skills within a multi‑disciplinary team, guidelines and protocols. Utilise clinical skills to assess, diagnose and formulate a treatment plan.
* Collect, collate, evaluate and report information, maintaining accurate confidential patient records to a very high standard reflective of advanced clinical practice.
* Plan and manage the nursing output across the network, working flexibly and adaptively across the network as required and ensuring that service delivery is managed effectively, highlighting shortfalls to Senior Medical Office (SMO) or regional Headquarters (RHQ) as required.
Qualifications, Registrations and Memberships
* Advanced Practice Nurse qualification or evidence of Level 6/7 courses in relevant areas (or equivalent experience).
* Registered non‑medical prescriber.
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Registered Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC.
Desirable
* Learning and Assessing in Practice qualification or equivalent practice assessor training.
Behaviour
* Have you been dismissed for gross misconduct relating to bullying, harassment, discrimination or victimisation from any role in the past five years, or resigned or otherwise left a role but would have been dismissed for such gross misconduct because of an adverse decision had you continued in that employment? Driving Licence
* Hold a current United Kingdom (UK) driving licence.
Security and Background Checks
Successful candidates must meet the security requirements, a security check is required. This post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
Employment Conditions
Payment scheme: Agenda for change, Band 7. Salary: £47,810 to £54,710 a year (pro‑rata for part time). No relocation expenses. No travel reimbursement for interview. No deployment requirement.
