We are recruiting on behalf of a client in the Crewe area for an experienced Family Service Worker to provide vital support to local families.
In this role, you will deliver effective preventative services, working closely with children, parents, and partner agencies to provide timely interventions that enhance family wellbeing and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with Children's Services and partner agencies to deliver coordinated programmes that meet family needs.
* Plan, deliver, and review interventions for children and families across the 0-19 age range, ensuring timely and appropriate support.
* Deliver evidence-based programmes and continually develop skills through supervision and training.
* Collect and manage data to support performance management and a needs-led approach.
* Identify and support families experiencing early difficulties, empowering them through targeted service delivery.
* Conduct holistic assessments, maintain accurate records, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
Key Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification; relevant youth/community/social work qualifications desirable.
* Experience delivering outcome-focused programmes to children, young people, and families, both 1:1 and in groups.
* Knowledge of child development, safeguarding procedures, and early intervention strategies.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and plans.
* Ability to work effectively in partnership with other professionals and agencies.
Contract Length: 3-6 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.
Pay Rate: £15-£20
Working pattern - 37 hours per week, onsite.
