A busy dealership is seeking a reliable and proactive Driver / Site Coordinator to join their team, offering a competitive salary of £28,500–£30,000 and structured hours Monday to Friday 08:00–17:30, with a shorter Saturday shift 08:00–13:00.
This varied role combines driving duties with hands-on forecourt management, giving the successful candidate responsibility for vehicle deliveries, site safety, and coordination of daily operations. With training opportunities, a supportive team, and the chance to be a key part of a busy dealership, this role offers both variety and responsibility.
Responsibilities
* Safely collect and deliver vehicles, including company and customer-owned vehicles, and items from other dealerships as needed
* Maintain order and safety of the forecourt/car park, including gritting icy areas and using safety cones
* Ensure all vehicles on display meet company standards (pricing, signage, cleanliness)
* Assist Sales Consultants with vehicle preparation for customer collection
* Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth operations
* Deliver parts and perform errands such as trips to the Post Office or Bank when required
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations and maintain protective footwear, clothing, and a professional appearance
* Attend training courses and perform other reasonable tasks requested by management
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence – maximum 6 points
* Strong organisational and coordination skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable with a professional, tidy appearance
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £28,500–£30,000 per year
* Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:30, Saturday 08:00–13:00
