Main duties of the job
We are looking for midwives to join our hospital team at Hastings. You will have the opportunity to work within a variety of settings to provide women/birthing people with holistic and individualised care. Our consultant led unit at Conquest Hospital is based on the Hastings site.
We are a tight knit team working closely together to provide women/birthing people and their families with high quality, evidence based midwifery care. You will need to be a highly motivated team player, committed to drive forward an innovative service with the existing team. Midwives with a commitment to provide safe, cohesive and collaborative working is essential.We offer an excellent induction programme for all and full preceptorship programme for newly qualified midwives and a friendly, supportive and highly driven team to develop with for all experienced band 6\'s.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently and autonomously within the team is essential. You will gain experience in all aspects of midwifery care and will be supported to provide compassionate care.
